3:11. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತಹ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಾಶಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಎಂತಹ ಜನರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು? ನೀವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

3:11. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ಲಯವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವದ ರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯೂ ಭಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

3:11. Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,

3:11. Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live,

3:11. Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,

3:11. Everything will be destroyed in this way. So what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and devoted to God.
